Auctioneer Gordon Brockman will be giving valuations at Erlestoke Golf Club next week
People may be mistaken into thinking Fiona Bruce and the Antiques Roadshow team are at Erlestoke Golf Club on January 19, as auctioneers Richard Edmonds and Gordon Brockman will be taking part in a charity valuation day.
The Chippenham Auction Rooms duo, who have featured on the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip, will value antiques, collectables and pictures. Fees will go to Diabetes UK and Dorothy House Hospice Care – charities chosen by the club’s ladies’ and men’s captains.
Mr Brockman said: “It is a pleasure to be asked to do this sort of thing and hopefully raise lots of money. You never know what people are going to bring in.”
The Erlestoke Antiques Roadshow will be from 10-2pm at the golf course.
And Chippenham Auction Rooms host a free valuation morning in Malmesbury at Lockstones estate agents in the High Street between 10am and 1pm on Tuesday, January 15.
