TROWBRIDGE'S Paula Walker finished seventh in the latest round of the FIBT World Cup series in Germany today.
Walker, with Kelly Denyer as her brakewoman after regular partner Gillian Cooke suffered an injury following the pair's crash in Altenberg last week, was lying sixth after the first of two runs, which she completed in 51.81 seconds.
A slightly slower second outing (52.16) slipped them a place as Canada's Kaillie Humphries and Chelsea Valois claimed another victory to continue their domination of the season.
Walker lies eighth overall, with the series moving on to Igls in Austria for the next round, followed by the World Championships in St Moritz, Switzerland, the week after that.
Walker's partner John Jackson goes in the two-man event tomorrow, with former Olympic sprinter Craig Pickering as his brakeman.
