The body of missing Trowbridge man Ivan Saunders has been discovered by police near Bath.

Shortly after 9pm last night, Wiltshire Police officers located Mr Saunders’ unattended VW Transporter van in the car park of a pub in Newton St Loe, near Bath.

In a wooded area a short distance away, officers discovered the body of a deceased male.

Formal identification is still to be completed but it is suspected this is the body of 64-year-old Mr Saunders who was last seen at his home address in Trowbridge on Wednesday.
