A MAN is fighting for his life after being stabbed twice in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to a house in Leighton Avenue, Park South, at 0.17am to a report of a stabbing and located a 35-year-old male with two puncture wounds to his body.
The man remains in hospital in a serious condition and officers promptly arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have been in the area at the time of the incident or who may have any information relevant to this investigation to contact Detective Sergeant Tom Ellerby from Swindon CID at Gablecross Police Station.
