TROWBRIDGE's Great Britain 1 pilot John Jackson finished 19th in the two-man event at the World Championships in Switzerland yesterday.
Paxcroft Mead's Jackson, with former Olympic sprinter Craig Pickering as his brakeman, then joined Jackson's partner Paula Walker and brakewoman Gillian Cooke to help Great Britain into seventh place in the team event at St Moritz, along with skeleton athletes Kristan Bromley and Lizzy Yarnold.
Jackson and his four-man crew compete on Saturday, the four-man event rounding off the world championships.
