A MA who is accused of carrying out racially aggravated offences on a train and at Swindon station has been remanded in custody.
Barry Simmonds is said to have carried out the series of offences on Saturday November 3. No charges were formally put to the 53-year-old, of no fixed abode, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
He is accused of racially aggravated assault, common assault, racist abuse and a public order matter. Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to April 5 and remanded him in custody.
