Wiltshire Police is appealing for information after a burglary at a house in Marlborough.
The incident took place between 1.30pm on January 27and 10.30pm the following day at an address in Manton, Marlborough.
Offender(s) broke into the house and searched the property before stealing a quantity of high value jewellery.
Costume jewellery and items of a lesser value were left untouched in the house.
Detective Constable Gemma Vinton of the Priority Crime Team in Swindon said: “These items are of huge sentimental value to the owners and they are desperate for them to be returned.
“I would appeal to anyone in the Manton area between these times and dates who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to contact us immediately.
“All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.”
