A whist drive in Kington Langley raised more than £500 for Chippenham and District Branch of the British Heart Foundation.
Nearly 100 people joined in the card tournament in the village hall on Saturday, which has been held every year for more than 30 years.
Chippenham’s John Grimshaw, of Rowden Road, was presented with an award to thank him for being master of ceremonies for the event during this time.
Branch secretary Sara Harding said: “John’s expertise always ensures that the whole afternoon progresses smoothly, therefore always making it a must in everyone’s calendar.”
