A CHARITY race night tribute to Clarendon College pupil Connor Robinson takes place at the Farmhouse, in Southwick, at 7pm on Friday, February 8.

His aunt, Carlene Robinson, 24, of Trowbridge, aims to raise £500 for Children’s Hospice South West by taking part in the Bath Half Marathon on March 3 and hopes next week’s fundraiser will help her reach the total.

Connor, 12, who had a rare skin cancer in his mouth, was cared for by Charlton Farm, in Bristol, before his death in January 2011.

“I am hoping to raise this money so other families can receive the support that they need during such difficult times, said Miss Robinson.

“Not only did they provide specialised care for Connor, they supported the rest of my family and allowed us to stay with him.”

Miss Robinson also praised to support the charity provided after Connor’s death.

A plaque paying tribute to Connor has been erected at Clarendon College.

Miss Robinson wants businesses and shops to donate prizes for race night.
