A GROUP of fundraisers will be working up a sweat today to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
A four-hour Combatathon, or extreme exercise class, is taking place at DW Sports Fitness Club from 9am to 1pm to raise money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The event – which is in its fourth year – has been organised by Army HR administrator Jo Freeman, and involves four body combat instructors leading 30 participants in four one-hour sessions.
The group hopes to raise around £3,000 for the charity.
The event has raised more than £12,000 in previous years for charities such as The Samaritans, Oak and Furrows Wildlife, Prospect Hospice and Ovarian Cancer Action.
Participants will be put through their paces by instructors Lorraine Collins, Kerry Clifford, Natalie Mitchell and Ben Strange.
