A workshop hosted by Wiltshire and Swindon's police and crime commissioner Angus Macpherson will be taking place at Trowbridge’s St John’s Parish Centre on Monday, February 11.

The session, running between 10am and noon, at the centre in Wingfield Road, will be an opportunity for members of the voluntary and community sectors to discuss the forthcoming police and crime plan for the region.

Mr Macpherson held two similar workshops in Salisbury and Swindon last month.

He said: “We’ve decided to host another consultation workshop on my forthcoming police and crime plan in Trowbridge as we’ve had a lot of interest and positive feedback from those who attended the sessions in Salisbury and Swindon.

“The workshops so far have been really useful to get feedback from representatives of the voluntary and community sector in Wiltshire and Swindon. We have limited places for the Trowbridge event so if you are from that sector and wish to attend please let my office know.”

The plan aims to set the direction for policing in Wiltshire and Swindon over the next five years and from Monday, February 18 the public will be able to give their opinion on a draft version of the plan via www.wiltshire-pcc.gov.uk.
