Councillor resigns from Westbury ward

Westbury Town Council’s Charles Pope has resigned as the councillor for the Laverton Ward, due to business commitments.

He had joined the council in March 2011.

The seat will be contested as part of the town council elections in May.

business commitments ,what a joke , he left the town over ayear ago,his wife was also elected at the same time as him in 2011 she then left the council and him.this man is a waste of time who did not even bother with westbury people ,he i suppose only wanted the title of councillor.apperntly he did not even bother going to council meetings, what a joke to think both him and his wife lied to westbury people with their list of what they where going to do,well they didnt even do 1 thing they said they where going to do,and to think i wasted my vote on the popes. Tory voter no more
