An employee who stole £2,455 in cash from Ashley Garage in Box was given a community order at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court.
Mia Louise Williams, 20, of Matilda Way, Devizes, took the money from her employer, in Bath Road, between September 18 and October 9, 2012.
At the Chippenham court, she was given a community order, requiring her to carry out 50 hours unpaid work and also pay £150 in compensation.
