FARINGDON Town A charged into the third round of the North Berks League Cup with a 5-0 thrashing of Crowmarsh Gifford Reserves.
Crowmarsh did not help themselves by going down to nine men inside the first 20 minutes, and Faringdon took advantage.
Robbie Harrington bagged a brace while Nick Wojcik, Rob Ward and Lee Ruddle also found the net.
Lambourn Sports romped to a 4-2 win at rock-bottom Benson Lions in Division Two with Damian Harris notching a brace.
Mark Mooney and Ben Hopkins also netted for Lambourn while Simon Bailey and Pat Crowley registered for Lions.
- ONLY two games took place in the entire Swindon Sunday League at the weekend.
Both took place in Division Seven and both were high-scoring encounters.
DBS hammered Gorsehill Borough 8-1 while FC Wedge went one better in thumping Rug Shack 9-1.
