Airport café is set for takeoff

SPOT the planes over a coffee at the relaunch of the AV8 café at Cotswold Airport today.

Management of the restaurant has been taken back in-house and newly-appointed manager Charlotte King has introduced healthy, locally-sourced menus.

She said: “AV8 is a truly unique venue with so much to offer.

“Where else can you see a 747 jet or an F1 car right in front of you while you sip a latte?”

The building, which faces the runway at the airport near Cirencester – formerly RAF Kemble – has undergone a facelift while the facilities have been improved.

Charlotte said: “We really hope people see what we offer.”
