PATIENTS who had day surgery at Salisbury District Hospital have rated the service highly.

The hospital’s survey asked patients their views on the facilities, waiting times, quality of care and how they were treated.

In all, 90 per cent said they had confidence and trust in the doctors and nurses and were treated with respect and dignity.

Chief executive Peter Hill said: “We will look carefully at every comment, to see if there are any changes we could make to further improve the service we give.”
