Redcliffe Homes wants to build 95 homes on land next to Rowden Lane in Chippenham.
The application is for a 2.82 hectare site, accessible via two next access points from Rowden Lane.
A range of different properties has been planned, from one bed flats to five bedroom houses. Thirteen of these will be affordable homes.
All open market houses will have car parking spaces and 19 visitor spaces are also being provided.
The properties will be between two and two and half storeys in height and objections to the scheme, which have been posted on the Wiltshire Council website, have been voiced by residents who are worried this height will lead to a lack of privacy.
Concerns have also been raised about oil pipes which lie underneath the proposed land, a higher volume of traffic and drainage issues.
