Prayerful day for women held in Trowbridge

Events are to be held in Trowbridge on Friday, March 1 as part of Women’s World Day of Prayer.
French women created this year’s service which will feature a series of prayers aiming to connect with women worldwide.
An event at the United Church will feature guest speaker Dawn Bartlett at 10.30am, while Christine Fowler will be guest of honour at 7.30pm at Wesley Road Methodist Church.
Deborah Halik, WWDP Trowbridge branch secretary, said: “We plan to have a great time featuring singing, worship and reflection. The theme this year is, I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me, which is very appropriate.”
