A Royal Wootton Bassett band will entertain hundreds of people at this summer’sBand books festival date Festival.

NewQuay Times, who have been together for about a year, will play at the festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, which takes place from May 31 to June 2.

The band includes singer and guitarist, Sarah Ryan, 16, a pupil at Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, her father, 47-year-old Vince, on guitar, Alex Hudd, 39, on drums, and Stu Bell, 41, on bass and backing vocals.

NewQuay Times, who have previously headlined at Riffs Bar, in Hook, near Royal Wootton Bassett, also played at The Hope and Anchor pub in London earlier this year.

The festival will include performances from Kate Nash and the Human League.
