Josh Parsons scored Swindon Supermarine's equaliser against Paulton Rovers last night
SWINDON Supermarine came from behind to beat Paulton Rovers 2-1 and secure their fourth straight Southern League Division 1 South & West win in a row last night.
Marine came close to breaking the deadlock in the 25th minute.
Chris Taylor swung in a free-kick and Josh Parsons headed against an upright.
Fifteen minutes later Ash Edenborough’s solo run ended with a shot which flashed past a post and it seemed as though Marine had the upper hand going into the break, but Paulton sneaked ahead on the stroke of half-time.
Manager Dave Webb’s team talk at the break revived the home side, however, and they levelled through Parsons 11 minutes into the second period.
Jamie Prictor and Dean both spurned golden chances to force Marine in front and it seemed the game was destined to end all-square, but Dean popped up with seven minutes left to smash home the winner after good work from Taylor.
