Beginners and accomplished young musicians joined forces for Westbury Leigh Primary School’s first musical concert.

The choir opened proceedings, followed by individuals and groups of children playing instruments and singing.

All of them performed their pieces with gusto and flair.

Special thanks were given to staff involved, with special thanks for regular supply teacher and choir club Debby Bailey, who gave significant time and support to children, ensuring their piece was performance-ready.

Parents and friends saw children ranging from beginner to accomplished, all confident to have a go. A small collection was taken, to go towards future performing arts resources. Thanks to Matravers School for the loan of lights and mics to add to the ambience.

Parents were bowled over by the confidence and quality of music.
