Challenges faced by the county’s blind and partially-sighted residents are investigated in the latest feature in Wiltshire Council’s DVD series.
The documentary, one of 12 made for the Wiltshire Voices series, was launched at St John’s Parish Centre, in Wingfield Road, Trowbridge.
The council spoke to 40 people and five are featured.
Chris Williams, portfolio holder for area boards, said: “These DVDs are giving us unique insights into the everyday lives of these people.
“Our aim is to share these with decision makers, schools and the wider public, so their views are taken into account when key decisions are made.”
Interviewees spoke of challenges in finding work and the DVD shows help available for blind and partially-sighted people.
