HolbrookPrimary School pupils had space age fun at a stargazing event on Tuesday.

Children from the Nightingale and Darwin classes were joined after school by their parents to look up at planets and constellations.

The two classes took part in the event, organised by higher learning teaching assistant Jane Wilson, as they have been learning about space and the Earth as part of their syllabus.

Darwin class teacher Gemma Hector said: “It went really well, we had a great turnout and their were no clouds in the sky which was fantastic.”
