WILTSHIRE SENIOR CUP: Bradford booted out of Senior Cup

BRADFORD Town have been kicked out of the Wiltshire Senior Cup for fielding an ineligible player in their quarter-final victory over Melksham Town last month.

Paul Shanley's side were due to take on Bemerton Heath Harlequins in next week's semi-final but have been booted out of the competion by the Wiltshire FA, with Melksham reinstated in their place.

Bradford beat Dave Clayton's Melksham 3-2 in extra-time on February 18 but fielded a player who hadn't been registered with the club less than 48 hours before the quarter-final tie's original date of January 19.
