Railway talk is just the ticket
RAILWAY buffs and those interested in Swindon’s history are invited to attend a talk at the Central Library.
Local historian and author Peter Timms will be at the Regent Circus library on March 20 to talk about life growing up in a railway town.
Peter’s talk, entitled Railway Memories, will be of interest to anyone with a passion for local or family history.
The talk starts at 7.15pm and will be held in the Second Floor Reading Room.
Tickets are £1.50 for library members and £2.50 for non-members, available from the Visitor Information Centre in the Central Library or by calling 01793 466454.
