Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is urging people to enter its annual Sarsen Trail sponsored walk and Neolithic Marathon while they can still benefit from an ‘early bird’ discount.
The Sarsen Trail and Neolithic Marathon is Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s premier fundraising event of the year and this year is an extra special one as it’s the 25th anniversary of the event.
The route takes in some of the most impressive views in Wiltshire, across MOD-owned land that is only open to the public on this one day of the year.
Organiser Derek Gard said: “There are a variety of routes, to suit any level of fitness.
“You don’t even have to run it, you can walk it or bike it. You don’t even have to do the full 26 miles. We have a range of distances, and routes to suit everyone.
“Choose from seven, 11, 15 or the full 26 miles – with wonderful walks, brilliant bike rides and rigorous running routes.
“You can even book through CaniX to bring your four-legged runners. We’re offering early bird discounts for anyone who books before midnight on Sunday, March 17 so grab your place now to take advantage of the discount.”
