Repairs for Devizes public toilet

Councillors have decided to have the public toilet in Devizes Cemetery repaired.
The toilet has been out of action for some months after it was vandalised.
There was also evidence that the toilet was used on occasions for drug use.
At a meeting of Devizes and Roundway Joint Burial Committee last week councillors decided that the electronic handwashing feature should be repaired and the coin-operated entry box be reconnected at a cost of more than £300.
The toilet used to be in Hillworth Park and was relocated to the cemetery, in Rotherstone, in 2011 before the park underwent a major refurbishment.
