Garden projects need a hand in Chippenham on Big Dig day

Volunteers are needed for a big dig day taking place at three gardening projects in Chippenham.
On Saturday gardeners can volunteer at Portway, where a community garden project for GreenSquare tenants was started last June. Or they can help at the Wellies and Worms project at Charter Rise Children’s, Centre, Wood Lane, which is for parents who want to learn more about gardening and growing food. Opportunities are also available with The Nature of It, run by Leanne Taylor, at St Peter’s Primary School, Lords Mead.
