Karen Doling with brother Roger and sister Jo after their head shaves
The siblings of a cancer patient have shaved their heads in support of their sister.
Karen Doling, 40, of Warwick Close, Chippenham was diagnosed with breast cancer last month and has now started chemotherapy.
She said: “I am going to lose my hair anyway but Roger and Jo said they would get their heads shaved too. We’re doing it for the Dorothy House Hospice as I may need their help and support one day.”
Roger May, from Reading, and Jo May, from Chesham, London, joined Mrs Doling to have their heads shaved on Saturday in Sainsbury’s, where Mrs Doling has worked in the bakery for two years.
They have so far raised £2,220 for Dorothy House Hospice Care. It only receives about 30 per cent of its funding from the NHS, so needs to fundraise £7,000 a day.
