Warminster Prep School staff and pupils in Years 3 and 4 worked tirelessly towards the end of February on their production of Cinderella Rockerfella.
The final two days of the month saw the culmination of all their hard work when friends and family were treated to a delightful and entertaining show.
Cinderella Rockerfella was a modern, panto-style reworking of the classic tale with all the traditional characters, including Cinderella, played by Alice Greig, and Rocker-fella (formerly known as Prince Charming), played by Lilly Aldridge.
Added to these were a crowd of less traditional characters, with many of them reflecting the contemporary world of fame and celebrity.
Rebecca Glenny, a teacher at the Prep School and one of the organisers, said: “All the children were full of energy and enthusiasm throughout the rehearsals, so we were delighted to see their efforts culminate in such an amazing performance.
“We would like to thank all of those who came to see the show, and the parents who helped with the costumes.
“A massive thank you must also go to the hard working staff who made it all possible and finally to the children for putting on a fantastic performance.
“It was hard to believe that these young actors were only seven and eight years old. Well done to the whole cast.”
