Marlborough car washing for good causes

Drivers in Marlborough can get a gleaming finish to their cars and support two very good causes when a charity car wash is held on Saturday.
The event is being organised by the town’s firefighters and will be held at the fire station in The Parade between 10am and 2pm.
Funds raised will be split between the Fire Fighters Charity and the Kennet Community Transport Fund, which relies on volunteers to enable elderly and disabled people to be transported to and from Marlborough. The Fund is currently looking for help in maintaining its minibus and covering fuel costs.
As well as car washing in return for donations, the Marlborough crew will be able to advise on home fire safety and provide information to anyone interested in joining Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service as an ‘on-call’ firefighter.
