The Tesco store in County Way, Trowbridge, opened its doors again this evening after being forced to shut for more than four hours due to a power cut.

One of the sub stations serving the store was affected, rendering the tills out of action in both the store and petrol station around 2pm today. The store's cash machines were also hit.

Staff directed traffic away from the car park before power was eventually restored around 6.30pm.
