Crews clean up

Marlborough fire fighters will be sponging down dirty cars at their annual car wash for charity.

They are raising money for the Fire Fighters Charity and Kennet Community Transport.

Wayne Presley, watch manager at Marlborough Fire Station, said: “Hopefully we’ll raise about £300.”

The crew will also be offering advice on home fire safety and will provide information to anyone interested in joining the service as an on-call fire fighter.
