FOLLOWING their success away Steeple Ashton and Broughton Gifford in previous rounds of the Briken Motors & AM Print & Copy sponsored A&B Cup competition, third division Levi’s completed a hat trick of cup upsets when they claimed the scalp of second division outfit in Westbury Town.
Ashton ran out 3-0 winners in their delayed quarter-final clash to set up a semi-final tie with first division Seend United.
First half goals from Chris Foley and Jason Povey put Levi’s two-up at the interval but minutes before half time, they missed a chance to add a third when the usually reliable Levi Woods failed from the penalty spot.
Povey added his second and Levi’s third of the game midway through the second half to give the league newcomers the chance to cause what would be a major shock if they were to beat Seend in April’s semi-final clash.
