A new monthly business club for women is launching near Chippenham next week.
I Am Woman aims to coach and mentor women to success and will be led by experienced local businesswomen Elaine Godley and Amanda Richards.
At the launch three speakers will share their personal journeys and tips for success, including I Am Woman patron Margaret Carter. She started Patchwork Traditional Food Co Ltd from her kitchen table with just £9 and it is now a global award winning business with a £2 million pound turnover.
Rosemary Macdonald, an army wife at the age of 18 who has no degree, will speak about how she raised £8m in five years for charities and became chief executive officer of the Community Foundation for Wiltshire & Swindon.
Also speaking will be Babs Powell, who co-founded 70s TV dance group Pans People and is now an explorer.
I Am Woman offers the opportunity to gain hints and tips from others. It provides seminars and workshops, networking and monthly events covering topics endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management.
The launch event, Walking in her shoes, takes place at Stanton Manor Hotel at Stanton Saint Quintin on April 9 at 6.30pm. Tickets can be booked at http://iamwomanbathlaunch.eventbrite.co.uk/
