Keevil artist Joanna May has painted endangered animals to raise money for charity.
Mrs May painting of a white lion has been produced to raise awareness of the Global White Lion Protection Trust (GWLT) and it’s plight to give the animals protected status.
On June 26, Mrs May, will be attending an event at the House of Commons, hosted by GWLT founder Linda Tucker, raising awareness of the campaign.
While, her painting of the white lion, called The Knot of Life, will be auctioned at ball taking place in the Isle of Wight on June 28, with the artist donating 50 per cent of the auction price to the trust.
On October 8, Mrs May will be holding an event at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons, in Great Milton, Oxford, launching her moon bear paintings where she’ll be auctioning paintings and prints for Animals Asia Charity.
