Riders from Larkrise Community Farm, in Trowbridge’s Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Group, took part in the charity’s regional Summer Show at Warminster Saddle Club.
Damian Chilcott and Ben Wride, both from Trowbridge, won eight rosettes between them.
Wendy Self, the farm manager and an RDA instructor, and Susan Dickson, another instructor, were there to help as relatives and friends cheered them on.
Larkrise RDA, formed last summer, teaches groups from schools in Chippenham, Calne, Trowbridge and Warm-inster. Individual lessons are also held and there is now a waiting list.
The group needs more volunteers for leading ponies and side walking. No experience is needed, but a sense of humour is a must, as is desire to work with very rewarding children.
