The Glove Factory Cafe in Holt is celebrating after winning silver in the cafe/tea room category at the Taste of the West Awards 2013 this month.
The cafe, which was set up in January 2011, was up against businesses from Wiltshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
Taste of the West is the largest independent regional food group in the country and has been running the awards for two decades.
Mark Vicary, co-director of the Glove Factory Cafe, said: “We were thrilled to bits. It is the first time we entered and next year we are aiming for gold.
“To be the only winners in Wiltshire across all categories was something we were very pleased about.
“We use a lot of local suppliers and freshly prepare our food. We work long hours and it’s nice to get recognition.”
