A Wide range of tasty treats are on the menu in Melksham next month, at the town’s fifth annual Food and Drink Festival.
Starting on September 6, the nine-day celebration will see venues across the town host tasting sessions and cookery demonstrations.
A mini festival in the Littlebrook Centre on Friday is for starters, with an afternoon of croquet and Pimms lined up at Well House Manor on Saturday, followed by an evening with TV chef and eco-warrior Dick Straw-bridge.
Other events include a chilli-tasting contest, which was a great success last year, an evening of homemade puddings and a safari supper, where a four-course meal can be enjoyed in four venues.
The climax of the week will be the Food Fair at Melksham House on September 15.
