Devizes woman jailed for breaching harassment order
A Devizes woman who is the subject of a court order banning her from harassing her neighbours has been jailed for seven days after breaching the order.
The Sovereign Housing Association was granted an injunction on Tuesday against Jennifer Mary Hillier, of Charles Morrison Close, Devizes, at the Chippenham and Trowbridge county court, forbidding her from engaging in conduct which causes, or is likely to cause, a nuisance or annoyance to her neighbours.
The order carries an attached power of arrest and on Wednesday the police arrested Mrs Hillier for breaching the order and she has been detained in prison for seven days.
