A former Hilperton man accused of making indecent images of children has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Simon Burrows is said to have made the pictures between March and September last year and also had extreme pornography.
The 50-year-old, of no fixed abode, had been due to appear at the hearing at Swindon Crown Court by video link from Bristol prison.
But the technology failed and the preliminary hearing was conducted in his absence as he was represented by a lawyer.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, October 25, when he is due to enter his pleas, and remanded him in custody until then.
