The village of Box will be rocking again next week, as it hosts its 20th charity music festival, Box Rocks.
The eight-hour-long party will take place at the Queen’s Head pub on Monday during which eight bands will try to raise the roof in aid of the Bath Royal United Hospital Forever Friends appeal.
Blues Reviewed will start at 2pm with sets by Exit Plan, The Duckworths and Funkinsteins, before a finale by the Rocking Horrors.
This will be the 11th year the festival has supported the appeal, which is campaigning to raise funds for a new cancer centre at the hospital.
Queen’s Head landlord Dean Creighton said many bands are festival veterans.
