1:00pm Friday 13th September 2013 in Latest News
The Calne and District Twinning Association will hold a cream tea and a treasure trail on Sunday.
It was formed in 1970, when Calne became linked with Charlieu, France. Calne became twinned with Caln, Pennsylvania, in 1982, and with Eningen-unter-Achalm, Germany in 1988.
The agreement aims to foster friendship between the twinned towns and each year two out of the three European twins visit the third twin.
To join the treasure trail meet at 2.30pm in the Bank House car park behind Calne Heritage Centre.
The cream tea will take place at 2 Wansdyke Drive at 3pm, along with a book stall, a raffle and a competition to guess the weight of the cake.
