SWINDON Town Ladies secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Southampton Saints in the South West Combination Women’s League.
Maynard gave Town an early lead from close range before Saints equalised against the run of play when White lobbed into the net.
After the break Robyn Levett did well to hold Pritchard’s drive and then Town regained the lead when Michelle Rich set up Maynard to finish.
Rich later drove home a low free kick from distance before Saints came close to a second late on, as Harper headed over.
Meanwhile, Swindon Town Ladies reserves thrashed Marlborough 4-1 in wet and windy conditions.
Sally Butterfield and Alex Baker were among the goals and Chantelle Perry was player of the match.
Elsewhere, Swindon Town Ladies Under 16s recorded an emphatic 13-0 victory over hosts Woodley.
It was a confident performance by the Wiltshire outfit with Rhiannon Brown rarely tested in the Swindon goal.
The visitors took the lead after 10 minutes when Jess Graham powered home the first of her two first-half efforts.
Amy Joliffe and Chloe Beeden bagged a brace each and further goals from twins Kayane Byrom and Karolayne Byrom ensured Town took a comfortable 8-0 lead into the break.
Although Woodley set up more defensively in the second half and Town made three changes, the away side were on the scoresheet within five minutes as Joliffe bagged her hat-trick. Kayane and Karolayne both added further goals and Alice Telling also got on the scoresheet, before Graham completed her treble.
