Stabbing case man in custody

A 25-YEAR-OLD who is accused of stabbing a man at a Toothill house has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Tefferson Page appeared at Swindon crown court by videolink from Bristol prison facing a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
It is alleged that he assaulted 46-year-old Winston Booth in the early hours of August 17.
No charge was put to Page, of Kirkstall Close, Toothill, and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing.
Recorder Jonathan Fuller QC adjourned the case to November 22 and remanded him in custody until then.
Police were called to the address in Toothill at about 3.24am on the Saturday morning to reports of a stabbing.
