Man remanded in custody following burglary

A BURGLAR who disturbed the householder as he broke in during the dead of night has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Steven Buchanan, of Cleveland Road, Mouldon View, pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
The 25-year-old admitted breaking into a house on St Austell Way, Churchward, on May 28.
He was tracked down after his fresh blood was found on a broken window after the occupant came to investigate after being disturbed by someone trying to get in.
Judge Euan Ambrose adjourned the case to Friday October 4 and remanded Buchanan in custody until then.
