Disabled residents of a Trowbridge care home are enjoying a new garden, thanks to a national firm.
The Bows in Frome Road has had its garden revamped by workers provided by Virgin Media, who spent all day on Monday making it more wheelchair-accessible.
Home co-owner Dawn Johnson said: “Virgin Media donated one of their community days to us, so they’re doing all the work we required for the young disabled adults who live here.
“They’re sinking the trampoline into the ground, so you can transfer from a wheelchair into it, which is fabulous, and they have done us a new raised flowerbed, so we can grow herbs and lavender. We’ve also got a new seat around a tree.”
The 16 staff spent all day working at the home.
The home has space for two more young residents.
