Jason Werrell added Ferndale’s other goal as Rodbourne triumphed 7-2.
Under 13 Division 3 (9v9)
FERNDALE Rodbourne Colts’ Joe Gleed equalised in style after his team went behind against Croft Juniors Blue.
A free-kick from Neo Heath nearly put Ferndale in front but Croft rallied to record a 4-1 win despite excellent performances from Jay Lalli and goalkeeper Tyler Corr.
Under 15 Division 2
FOUR second-half goals saw Croft Juniors and Greenmeadow share the points in a 2-2 draw.
Greenmeadow opened the scoring in but Croft battled back, with close-range strikes from Harry Skinner and Joseph Kirby giving them the lead.
They couldn't quite hang on for their first win of the season, however, as Greenmeadow converted a penalty three minutes from time for the equiliser.
Under 11 Division 2
WANBOROUGH Juniors edged a tight match at Shrivenham & Watchfield 2-1.
Wanborough went ahead with a Tom Moore goal only for Shrivenham to equalise.
Liam O'Reilly scored the stunning winner, however, to seal the points for Wanborough.
Under 11 Division 4
RICCARDO Rossi gave FC Abbey Meads Colts an early lead in their clash with South Cerney, but despite a Joshua Codson penalty save the visitors ran out 12-1 winners.
Abbey Meads scored their late consolation through Andrew Smith.
Under 12 Division 1
HIGHWORTH Town Juniors produced a good team performance to defeat Wootton Bassett 5-1. Jack Payne grabbed two goals, with an Ollie England strike sandwiched in between a Jack Lewis double.
Swindon Rangers made it three league wins on the bounce with a hard fought 6-0 victory against a very hard-working Shaw Eagles outfit.
Leading 1-0 at half-time, Rangers added a further fivev goals in the second half to maintain their 100 per cent start to the campaign. On the scoresheet were Jack Paines (2), Jordan Murray (2), Harry Rule and Zac Stewart-Skinner.
Under 10 Cup
A PULSATING cup game culminated in Liden overcoming a 2-0 deficit to emerge 6-2 victors against Abbey Meads Youth.
Some early Liden jitters resulted in the visitors gaining the lead with a lightning breakaway goal and an own goal, but a man-of-the-match performance from sub Tyler Hughes spurred Liden on.
Hughes created three goals and scored a screamer to put Liden into the lead. Adam Pryor showed some fine finishing skills with a second-half hat-trick to complete the scoreline with assists from Lewis Farncombe and Mason Francis.
Under 11 Cup
CROFT Red moved into the next round of the competition with a 4-1 triumph over Liden Community.
Croft started the quickest and scored a goal after five minutes through Kieran Sutton. Tyger-J Hall added a second with a wonderful volley from outside the area to give Croft a 2-0 lead before Liden pulled one back just before half-time. In the second half, Hall struck the third and his second with a header from a corner, and late in the game Kieran Sutton got his second to give Croft the victory.
Under 16 Cup
SWINDON Supermarine won their League Cup match against Brinkworth Cats Black 4-2. Ayes Darlami (2), Alex Cook and Jack Thatcher were on the scoresheet for Supermarine.
Wanborough narrowly edged their cup derby with Chiseldon 3-2, after the match finished dramatically with three goals in the last four minutes.
Chiseldon took the lead in the first half, but Fraser Gordon levelled for Wanborough before the break.
Extra-time was looming before Matt Rees put Wanborough ahead with two minutes left, but Chisledon equalised almost immediately.
As the match went into added time, however, Ben Spurdell snatched Wanborough's winner.
