Trowbridge Oaks Residential and Nursing Home held a party to mark the end of refurbishment work. Residents and staff at the home in West Ashton Road dressed in iconic costumes from the last 100 years for the event. There was also a flypast by a Hercules plane, musical performances and refreshments.
Manager Tracy Williams said: “As some of our residents are over 100 we decided to have a centenary celebration, with some wonderful costumes on show.”
The home has now got new carpets and furniture, with TVs in every resident’s room.
