Two-year-old struck by car in Bowerhill

A two-year-old child was hit by a car outside Bowerhill Primary School yesterday.
The child was struck by a blue Volvo S40 at 4.10pm, near the school on Halifax Road, and suffered a head injury.
Road ambulances were called to the scene, along with the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, which arrived at 4.20pm.
The child was assessed at the scene of the accident, but was not seriously injured, and was taken by road ambulance to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
